79 year old Alberta artist, Shirley Chinneck, represents the quintessential Canadian
story.

Shirley Chinneck, a painter living in Canmore Alberta, started out nursing 60 years
ago in Edmonton. She combined her passion for painting later on in life by drawing
patients at the local hospitals - providing free copies to her subjects.

Shirley is a very modest person who doesn\'t believe that her hundreds of paintings
make her anyone special. But a look into her life reveals someone who has managed
to unite family, feminism, Aboriginal and French cultures through her Art. Learn
